COMMITTEES:
Agility
Trials, February 20 & 21, 2010 and May 15 & 16, 2010 Ð Ann announced
for Chief Ring Steward Mary Jenkins that Mary needs volunteers and would like
to you contact her if you want to help steward. Mary will also send out an email asking for help closer to
the February trials. Agility Chair
Cheryl Etheridge said she would work with the people at Texas Rose Horse Park
to make sure the surface is properly packed. The Premium List is out and we already have 2 entries. We will probably need to schedule a
workday to clean up our agility equipment before the trials. Robin Visniski is our Raffle
organizer. It will be a workers
only raffle and she needs donations of items or cash to buy items as soon as
possible.
Obedience
& Rally Trials, July 31 & August 1, 2010 Ð Per Chair Don Etheridge
everything is going along with the arrangements. We will have Friday and Saturday C-Matches like last year. He let us know that one of our scheduled
judges was a judge at the AKC National Obedience Invitational he and Cheryl
attended last year.

nominated and voted in as new TOTC members. Congratulations and thanks for joining us!
UNFINISHED
BUSINESS:
TOTC
Blankets Ð Kathleen McCullough brought new crate blankets and gave them to the
teachers and assistants who received defective ones at the Christmas
banquet. A motion was made,
seconded and passed to donate the old blankets to an animal shelter. Additional blankets are available for
member purchase for $35. New TOTC
woven (as opposed to knit) shirts were also available and until this batch runs
out will be $21.
NEW
BUSINESS:
There
is an Agility Fun Match at Lucky Dog Sunday, January 10 from Noon to 4:00 PM.
Our
next General Membership Meeting will be February 4 at McAllisterÕs @ 6:30 PM (the
location has been changed
to ElCharro on Fifth Street). There will be an Agility Scoring
training session after the meeting for those interested in seeing how scoring
is done so they can learn to help.
It wonÕt be too long. After
the seminar we hope to practice scoring at a Fun Match at Lucky Dog Park if we
can coordinate a date (February 7 or 14) with Robin and Dave Visniski. Robin reminded us that whoever is the
last to leave the facility at Lucky Dog after any activity needs to make sure
that lights are off, water is turned off, things are locked up etc.
A
motion was made, seconded and passed to Adjourn at 7:10 PM.
