Pet Manners

Class

A 6-week class that can prepare your dog to take the AKC Canine Good Citizen® test. Prerequisite(s)/Requirements: Passed Star Puppy Test, Canine Foundations course or Foundations Skills Test - Does your dog already know Sit and Down pretty good and has some manners, this is the class for you. We work on Distance, Duration and Distraction while we polish our manners. Fully Vaccinated Handler should be 16 years old or approved by the training director CGC Test Items: 1) Accepting a friendly stranger 2) Sitting politely for petting 3) Appearance and grooming 4) Out for a walk (walking on a loose lead) 5) Walking through a crowd 6) Sit and down on cue and stay in place 7) Coming when called 8) Reaction to another dog 9) Reaction to distraction 10) Supervised separation Min class size = 4. Maximum class size is 8.
